ISO 27001

$5,000 one time to get ready for certification. The certificate itself is issued by an accredited certification body, which quotes and bills its audit separately.

What others publish

Most compliance platforms do not publish a price. These are the figures they and others do publish, each linked to its source.

  • Drata estimates a SOC 2 Type 1 audit at $7,500 to $15,000 and a Type 2 at $12,000 to $20,000, and puts a small startup first-year total at $25,000 or more. Source, read July 30, 2026.
  • Vanta states that the fees for a SOC 2 audit range between $10K and $50K. Source, read July 30, 2026.
  • LowerPlane publishes three annual plans, Starter at $4,995, Growth at $9,995 and Scale at $15,995 a year, and states that auditor fees are separate and paid directly to your chosen auditor, with no auditor figure given. Source, read September 28, 2026.
